Alyse Killeen is a Venture Capital Investor with seed stage to pre-IPO investment experience in enterprise and consumer technologies, now Managing Partner at StillMark Co., an innovation and technology focused investment and advisory firm.
In 2015, the UN Foundation named Alyse a Top 70 Bay Area Digital Leader, and in 2016, Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), a university under the ambit of the Ministry of Education, appointed her as a Fintech Fellow. As a SUSS Fellow, Alyse serves as a resource in fintech teaching and research. Alyse’s current investment practice is focused on global innovation in the finance, healthcare, and new marketplace arenas, while she continues to advise investors and executive teams in enterprise and consumer technologies and applications broadly.
Founder of City Fellows Consortium (2015) and Women in Venture (2013), Alyse is a consummate connector of people and ideas, and an adept community builder. City Fellows is an international league for top undergraduate engineers, bridging the gap between classroom education and students’ local innovation communities. Women in Venture is the preeminent private social-professional network for women investors in the field of traditional venture capital, increasing the number of women in venture and supporting women founders and those in executive leadership.
Alyse has presented globally for groups including International Monetary Fund, Singapore Management University, USA Today, and TechCrunch Disrupt. Featured in publications including Forbes and Bloomberg, in 2015 Alyse authored a book chapter in the award-winning Handbook of Digital Currency. The next book in the series, Handbook of Digital Banking, is to be released in 2017 and includes a chapter Alyse co-authored with Dr. R. Chan of the World Bank: “Global Financial Institutions 2.0”
