Podcast Host | The Bitcoin Game
Rob Mitchell became enthralled with Bitcoin in early 2013. His previous experience was as a designer, print publisher, inventor, and entrepreneur. With an immediate desire to immerse himself in Bitcoin, Rob reached out and worked with Let’s Talk Bitcoin in the early days of the podcast. Rob also designed an iconic Bitcoin keychain, which has been used frequently in media to visually represent Bitcoin. Rob has written articles ranging from a hands-on description of using the first Bitcoin ATMs in Los Angeles, to how to use Counterparty to create tokens secured by Bitcoin’s Blockchain. In addition, Rob created some of the earliest Counterparty assets linked to physical goods (digital tokens redeemable for Bitcoin and Litecoin keychains).
Rob started The Bitcoin Game in 2014, on the LTB Network. This podcast with a mainstream slant has included interviews with notables such as Peter Todd, Brock Pierce, Riccardo Spagni, and Roger Ver. The Bitcoin Game also garnered the only recorded interview with “Bitcoin Hero Johoe,” which featured several exclusive revelations about his work finding flaws in key generation with several Bitcoin wallet platforms. The Bitcoin Game was one of the first to cover Factom (thanks Peter Kirby), and to feature discussion of Lightning Network (thanks Paul Puey).
Rob was honored to MC the 2015 State Of Digital Money, and is excited to be moderating the Scaling Bitcoin panel at this year’s SODM.
